GSK company launches new anti-aging product to its skin care line Revaleskin

The new product has been made with Coffeberry whole fruit extract, as an anti-aging treatment providing antioxidants to neutralize against free radical damage caused by UV exposure.
“Coffeeberry extract minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and strengthens the skin’s natural ability to regenerate itself,” according to Jeanine Downie, MD. “It has one of the highest tested antioxidant capacities for protecting against daily environmental damage and UV stress.”
Clinical studies
The company has stated that according to clinical studies, Coffeeberry extract helps replenish the skin’s lost natural antioxidants and neutralizes free radicals that can accelerate the aging process.
Additionally, the company has pointed out that, in order to gain maximum sun protection, the treatment should be used in addition to sunscreen, rather than as a substitute.
Furthermore, the company has stated that the treatment is a hydroquinone-free, kojic acid-free topical serum containing dihydroxybenzoate (MDHB), related to the botanical gentian root.
